Program History and Goals

  •  The Presbyterian Preschool and Child Care Center is a non-doctrinal community service program at the First Presbyterian Church of Corvallis.  The center is a member agency of United Way of Benton & Lincoln Counties.
  • The childcare center offers education and care to children in an enriching environment that promotes hands-on experiences.  The teachers' goal is to nurture each child's emotional, social, intellectual, creative and physical development.
  • Our qualified staff members are a key element in providing programs which stress the importance of positive interactions.  The teachers work to create an inclusive atmosphere for families in which to grow and learn.
  • We recognize parents as the primary teacher in their child's development.  We work on a positive rapport and constant communication as the teachers learn about each child's strengths and challenges.
  • The church's outreach mission is for the center to provide affordable education/care by offering a sliding-scale Tuition Assistance Program to decrease the financial barrier for eligible families.
  • Are you looking for a morning program or do you need half or full-day care for your child year-round?
